What is the minimum investment?

    • The minimum investment is $50,000.

What are the projected returns?

  • The projected returns vary from deal to deal, and like all investments, never carry guaranteed outcomes.  At WestKey Capital, we pursue deals that provide a 6%–8% average annual cash flow, along with an average total annualized rate of return of 16% – 20%.

Do I need to be an accredited investor?

    • You do not need to be an accredited investor to invest with WestKey Capital.

What is an accredited investor?

    • Accredited investors are those individuals classified by the SEC as qualified to invest in complex or sophisticated types of securities.
    • To be considered an accredited investor, one of the following criteria must be met:
      • You have $1 million in net worth (not counting your primary home)
      • Or, you make $200,000 per year (or $300,000 if you are married), and have done so for the last two years, and expect to maintain that level of income through the current year.

How long are the hold times?

    • We typically hold our investments for 3 – 7 years.

Is my investment safe?

    • At WestKey Capital, our key priority is capital preservation. We work diligently to protect your hard-earned money. 
    • While there are no guarantees with any investment, we are focused on protecting and growing your capital by ensuring each deal has:
      • Plenty of reserves
      • Ample buffers
      • Multiple exit strategies

What are the tax advantages of investing in syndications?

    • As an investor in a real estate syndication, you get the pass-through tax benefits including accelerated depreciation and cost segregations, which can help to lower the taxable passive income you receive.
    • Have said that, we highly recommend you consult with your own CPA to get the most accurate tax information for your personal situation.
    • Each year, you’ll receive a Schedule K-1 reporting your income and losses for the investment.
